Privacy Policy
Minerva is research and backtesting software operated by Minerva One, Inc. It is not investment advice and does not execute live trades.
Controller. Minerva One, Inc., 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, info@minerva1.com, is the controller of personal data processed through Minerva.
1. Data we process and why
(a) Account data (email, display name, country, locale) — to create and operate your account; legal basis: contract. (b) Authentication data (Cognito identifiers, session tokens) — to sign you in and secure the service; legal basis: contract / legitimate interests in security. (c) Billing and tax data (Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, invoices, tax location) — to take payment and meet tax duties; legal basis: contract / legal obligation. Minerva does not receive full card numbers. (d) Strategy and model inputs, generated models, and parameters — to provide the research features you request; legal basis: contract. (e) AI conversations and prompts — to operate the AI features; legal basis: contract. (f) Backtest, optimization, tearsheet, signal, portfolio, and paper-trading records — to produce and store your results; legal basis: contract. (g) Waitlist and marketing data — only with your consent; legal basis: consent. (h) Logs and security data (IP, user-agent, event logs) — to secure and debug the service; legal basis: legitimate interests / legal obligation. (i) Cookies and local storage — see the Cookie Policy.
2. AI processing and Bedrock
User-facing AI runs on Amazon Bedrock. Bedrock model-deployment accounts are operated by AWS, and Bedrock model providers do not access those deployment accounts. We do not use your content to train models unless you opt in.
3. Recipients / processors
AWS (hosting and Bedrock), Stripe (payments), Amazon SES (email delivery), Amazon Cognito (authentication), enabled market-data providers, and TradingView (only where the screener embed is enabled). A current list is on the Subprocessors page.
4. International transfers
Personal data is processed in the United States. Where we transfer EU/UK personal data, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum) and our processors’ transfer mechanisms.
5. Retention
We retain data for the periods in our Retention Schedule (summarized on this page), then delete or anonymize it, except records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute-defense reasons.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. Use the Privacy Center (account settings) or info@minerva1.com. We respond within one month (GDPR/UK GDPR) or 45 days (US state laws), extendable where the law allows.
7. Your US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, to opt out of “sale,” “sharing”/targeted advertising, and certain profiling, and to appeal a denied request. Minerva does not sell or share your personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor recognized universal opt-out signals (including Global Privacy Control). To exercise rights, use the Privacy Center or info@minerva1.com; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
8. Sensitive data and minors
Minerva is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. We do not collect special-category/sensitive personal data for advertising and limit any sensitive data to providing the service.
9. Changes
We will post changes here and, for material changes, seek re-acceptance where required.
